Vellum Papers & Parchments
Most of the papers in this category are translucent (transparent) to some degree. They are often referred to as vellums by card makers. We are often asked if it is possible to print these papers. The answer is "Yes" but take some care.The 100 - 150gsm (lighter papers) are usually fine when printed ink-jet - just be careful to avoid smudging before the sheets have dried. If you print the 100gsm papers using laser then the toner will fix well but the heat of the process may distort the surface of the paper. The heavier papers (200gsm) are best printed using laser.
To be absolutely certain about printing it is best to order a few sheets to test.
